There are many ways to tune an electric guitar. The easiest way is with a guitar tuner, if the intonation is set properly. Tuning a guitar you can train your ear to the various sounds of each note.

Find a tuner that works with an electric guitar. Learn to tune your guitar with a note from a solid source, or by ear. This will help in training the ear to the pitch of each note and help with finger placement and pressure to be applied to the string.

One way to tune is below put out:

- Begin with an open A (this is the second largest and the fifth string).

- Use a fixed source, such as piano, harmonica, tuning fork even a other guitar

- Make the A string to match pitch or tone of the A source note by picking a string and let pass

- Loosen the string below the tone and voice, while increasing the voltage

- Loosening and then tightening works best and keeps the guitar in tune longer

Once the A string is tuned move to the D string.

- The D-string is directly below the A string, it is the fourth string

- D Sound by placing your middle finger on the 5th fret A

- This gives the sound D

- Keep your finger down and leaves the ring while adjusting D

Go to the G string, which is directly under the strings and the D third string.

- Sound G by placing your middle finger on the 5th fret on the D string

- Let the sound ring out and hold your finger

- Set G matching the noise

Then the B string or second string. This is directly under the G-string.

- Place your middle finger on the fourth fret of the G-string

- Keep your finger Sounding

- Adjust the B string to match the sound

Then the upper E string, the thinnest string and the one under the B string.

- Place your index finger on the 5th fret of the B string, this gives the upper E note

- Let it ring out and hold your finger

- Adjust the E string to match the sound

Finally, lower E, the largest and the first string:

- Place your index finger on the 5th fret of the lower E

- This will open a healthy

- Match the sound produced by the A string at the fifth fret note

- Accordingly to adjust lower E

Be aware that if you turn a string tuning it is much offered in the context of the tension. Normally, this is not a problem. However, if you have a rough guitar parts that can snag a string. If you tune wrong and then tighten the string will break. Since the string is so under pressure, can cause much damage. Do not over tighten belts. If in doubt, tune down.

You need to do a string at a time. Strings are tension and a pulling force on the fretboard. The force that each string exerts on the neck causes the slightly bent.

Once you have your guitar tuned, you'll probably find that some strings have gone out of tune. You must repeat the above procedure until all the strings are tuned.

Well intonation means your guitar stay in tune as you play different notes along the neck. The string may be perfectly in tune, but on the 10th fret, it can be given ½ semitone. This is a poor intonation.

Bad intonation can be caused by a mismatch between the length of the string and the distance between the frets. It can also be caused by a non-uniform string (ie, the thickness changes along the length). If you can not fix the intonation, try strings.

Intonation is easy to set on the electric guitar since the bridge consists of several adjustable components. A flat note means the string is too long, while a sharp note: the string is too short. Customization string slightly by moving the bridge piece in question. You may need this more than once on any string to repeat. It is a time consuming the first time you do it, but worth it.
