License To Chill is the latest Pop CD released by the very talented Jimmy Buffett, who again has a beautiful collection of tracks. IÂ'm confident Jimmy Buffett Pop fans and fans should be happy with this.
Unfortunately, ita's not every day that I am a CD from an artist that I can pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just canÂ't force myself to get through. Not the case with License To Chill. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to to listen to from start to finish.
License To Chill is a nicely varied, mix of 16 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly gifted artist. Many the numbers reflect a large proportion of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.
License To Chill is a first rate CD, delivering a little something for everyone. I give it two thumbs up. Ita simply great listening. A must buy if you even slightly in pop music.
While the entire CD is really good some of my favorites are track 4 - Coast O Carolina, track 7 - travel around the Sun, and track 16 - Back To The Island
My Bonus Pick, and the one I got Sore [... like "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 13 - Window to the world. Good stuff!
