advice on a good beginner harmonica?
hi I am a fairly accomplished guitarist with a fair amount of musical knowledge that is lookin to turn a little by learning harmonica. I'm not looking for anything expensive or illustrious, but I'm looking for diversity - i do not only play in one key. I found this on the musician's friend: http://folk-instruments.musiciansfriend.com/product/Hohner-CASE-OF-METAL-Harmonica-5Pack?sku=500324 and I think I get it. Hohner seems is a good brand and it gives me some options. I know very little about harmonica. an advice would be appreciated. maybe one day I will able to play guitar and harmonica like Bob Dylan haha
that's a good beginner set, or the Piedmont blues set, which is cheaper and still comes with the Bb and F, you do not use them much, unless you're in some funky blues stuff, but the idea is to find the keys you want and upgrade in those keys, I have some very nice harps in C and G and yes I have a set of cheap plastic Piedmont's around here, but they did help me the keys I wanted to play in.
