What kind of harmonica should I buy first?
I want to start playing, but I dont know whether to buy diatonic or chromatic. I dont really much money, so I Can not Buy more than one in a long time, and each diatonic sound, only a very limited number of notes. is that true? or should I just go with diatonic place? and Why chromatic play harder?
You would be much better off if you want a diatonic blues, rock and folk games. You will find many of the tuition is based on a C harmonica, so a good place to start. I would recommend a Lee Oskar or Hohner Special 20 because they both are always reliable and easy to play right out of the box. Chromatic Harmonica Not bend so easily, although you can use the additional notes with the slide button. Better suited for jazz. I bought a Hohner Chrometta 10, which is not expensive and serves its purpose reasonably well. Hope this helps. Good luck!
