what is the position harmonica (blues harp) play?
I have one beside my harmonica diatonic harmonica and the 2nd position in Example wroted (Key E). and also in some of my sites I see a larg view that a letter to the 10th position for each key of harmonica. I am very confused about these positions and also on the Ionian MODE, Cross Harp and "Straight Harp". help me if anyone can explain to me easily.
I answered this a few days ago and got not one best answer. The cite is below. In the first position, straight harp, you see this pattern in your minds eye. CEGCEGCEGC Blow attract DGBDFABDFA in cross harp, or the second position, you see this pattern in the eye of your mind. FACFACFACF Blow Draw GCEGBDEGBD You are playing a flatted Bb in cross harp. OK, now you go to scratch and thinking about other issues. I quote below concerns. It sounds to me like you a Lee Oskar Harmonica. You may have an alternate tuning. Write me as a melody maker and a natural minor. A melody plays in cross maker harp without the flatted B. You can look at the alignment and the model leeoskar.com, or just write me. Playing cross harp, or the second position, is how most people play the blues. There is like a blues scale. I've given you a quote below for that. No real conclusive answer. This is an art, after all.
