2-hole on my diatonic harmonica not working...?
I got this new harp from a large music store a few days ago. All the blow notes work great, so do the draw notes except the 2nd hole.
No matter how hard I suck air through the 2-hole it just makes no sound, and I can feel the reed is not vibrating at all. To make it sound I gotta first clear my lungs n inhale real hard to the point my lungs explode, but even so the sound produced is hardly audible.
As I said all the blow notes work great, including the 2nd blow note, which has the frustrating problem stated above. What are some possible causes? What can I do to repair my harp?

That my friend sounds like a bad reed. That probably means you got a shitty harmonica or there was a problem in manufacturing. Take it to a music store and talk to somebody there to see what they can do. Some harmonicas have replacable reeds and some don't. If yours doesn't you'll have to get a new harp. Get one with replacable reed plates this time.
