Harmonica Greats

How do you play a tremolo harmonica?

My dad and I just bought a harmonica yesterday, and now, I'm trying to learn how to play it. It isn't your typical harmonica. Apparently it's a tremolo harmonica, and there aren't that much great tutorials online. Anyone know where I can find a great one that teaches me to play?

even though an avid player I've never played a tremolo myself. But I think the most classic advice is golden with any kind of harp.
start out simple.
by that I mean a 10 hole diatonic.
a tremolo actually has 2 reeds as opposed to 1 for other models and through bending you can get more effect out of the instrument.
the best place to start out is always at the basic. get yourself a simple diatonic harp at the store and start learning on that one. Usually you can pick up one at a music store for just 20-30 dollar. And Hohner even makes a training model for kids for just around 5-7 dollar. Since these are the simplest in design they are the easiest to learn all the basic harp techniques and effects on. from there on out picking up other kinds and makes of harp get's a lot easier.
after a few years of playing I bought me a chromatic just for the fun of it and was going on that thing in just a matter of hours.
It won't be much different for your instrument
