Recovering the Satellites is the latest release of Counting Crows, and I can only think of one word to the CDA ... Describe AWESOME!
Unfortunately, ita's not every day that I study for a CD that I just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just canÂ't to force myself through. Not the case with Recovering the Satellites. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
These days ITA's a very rare CD on which every song is good or better than him. This CD is definitely one of those rare CDs.
Overall Recovering the Satellites is excellent from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must for the Rock fan. Really spectacular from beginning to end.
While the whole album is really very good the truly striking numbers are track 2 - Angels Of The Silences, number 9 - Another Horse Dreamer's Blues, and track 14 - Walkaways.
My Bonus Pick, and the one I got Sore [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 1 - Catapult. Italy is a great track!
