Has anyone had experience with Johnson diatonic harmonica? Are they good?

Johnson harmonicas are made in China. I have a couple and they blow ok. I almost bought the twelve pack a few of them were not particularly well suited. The dealer does not believe me, so I asked him politely for the chromatic tuner behind the counter. After I showed him three or four notes, it kind of deflated and told me he had a few boxes in a few weeks. He has never called me back and I've never pursued. I've got a G and D King Blues. I pulled them out and tried again. As I said, she sounds nice and the reed and bend them without soaking. I am particularly fond of the Hohner Special 20 though. It a very nice resonance. Hope this helps.

Hohner Blues Rocker Harmonica 4-Pack

Hohner Blues Rocker Harmonica 4-Pack

$39.95

The Hohner Blues Rocker harmonica set features 4 harps in the keys of C, G, D, and A that have been designed to put an edge into your playing by evoking the gritty, dirty sound found in blues-rock. "Blues-rock" describes the music of those artists who carried forward the early blues traditions started by Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters. Being faster and featuring a heavier sound with extended jams, blues-rock harmonica players in the early '70s such as John Mayall, Paul Butterfield, Billy Gibbons, Steven Tyler, Magic Dick, Mick Jagger, and Robert Plant solidified this musical style. These Hohner harmonicas have a thicker reed plate for improved response, longer lasting easy-bending reeds, and a powerful tone that sounds fantastic when amplified. The blues harps come in a blue hard foam case that keeps them safe and sound until you're ready to rock.
