What are the key of harmonica should I get?
I want to learn how hormonica play and I just want to buy now. Which test should I buy? Also, if you know any good online resources to learn how to play, you give them!
What would you do? If you're just playing with yourself, it does not matter what key you get. If you own accompaning guitar playing (a la Bob Dylan), get one in A. (G and D will also work for this, but they are less often). If you play with a fanfare, one gets in Bb (Eb and F will also work for.) If you can find, you might want to get a harmonica with an adjustable handle that allows you to change keys (such as A-Bb-model). And if you are looking for a classical (or jazz) harmonica virtuoso, get a chromatic harmonica (and learn the Villa Lobos concerto and the work of Toots Thielemans).
