The Slow Hand Blues is the most prominent technique that makes blues what it is today. Mastering the Slowhand blues will demand time, effort and focus and especially thorough understanding of the various blues scales and the blues notes.
The definition of blues is not the simplest of things and playing it well is a whole different ballgame. There are many great blues players and guitarists in the blues hall of fame to learn. The fact of the matter is that if you are able then Slowhand blues master who knows you might be able to a great blues record that will make you into the Hall of Fame! But that is only one thought now. The focus should be on mastering the blues scale and creating a blues backing track, so you can solo practice with that.
When we talk about blues, you must first learn to distinguish between the different guitar techniques. You may be able to prevent quick runs to do your fingers stretching far on the button to play multiple notes, but that's not what blues is all about. There is a certain degree of emotion and feeling that comes with the blues scale and is well made by people like BB King, Albert King and Eric Clapton. Eric Clapton is one of the greats who is so versatile that almost all styles, including acoustic guitars or unplugged, electric, slide, finger picking to play, open tunings, among many others, but its real root lies in playing slow hand blues.
Start Slow Hand Blues
Where you really start especially for the control of the slow hand blues? Difficult question really, but it depends on many factors such as personal influences, the specific key, finger size and special patterns called boxes. Each box has the notes of an octave in an arrangement that will be easy to play. Once you are familiar with the boxes, it will help you to play with a blues backing track. The boxes or patterns mostly highlight the places where you can note a significant bend your index finger. One of the best ways of mastering Slow Hand of the blues is to spend more time examining the various positions that will help you play your strings better.

You should start with an open E-string and when you reach the D-string, go to the 2nd fret, which is an E. You need to play both the notes simultaneously so you can hear. To make it easier, download some of the blues backing track same and practice them. One important thing: Never download MIDIS blues backing track, because it will not help the scales and to understand the changes.
