What should I do with a bunch of vintage items left to me?
My aunt left me some money and a warehouse. In that warehouse, the boxes on boxes of old vintage items. I do not know why it was all just gone there, but they are already quite well preserved. Should I sell? Would that be disrespectful? I would say 80% of the stuff is mint condition, like an old Revere movie camera. a Smith Premier typewriter in 1880 and in pretty good condition, two old Hohner harmonicas and other musical things / Technological old things. There are also some old encyclopedias in pretty good condition, old National Geographic magazines, signed posters, clothing (including fur coats and stuff) toys, etc. Have no idea what to do with her. Sorry if this is the wrong category, did not know where to post.
Sounds like you really do not want this stuff ... You can keep and feel the burden of weight on you, or you can find homes for the items with people who are happy to let them (and understand its value.) Your aunt left you a gift: you get to decide whether it will be a curse or a blessing. I recommend the items reviewed by at least two appraisers. Maybe even check ebay and see what parts are popular and are favoring bids. You might consider donating the items to a museum or charity (silent auction or second outlet). Get a receipt for a tax depreciation. See if other family members would entertain any of these items (besides the $ $ value they probably worth) and give them as Christmas or a bday gift. Or they sell and use the resources to do something that would bring you joy and honor the spirit in which they were left you.

While younger fans will love the disc (it is 'N Sync, after all), older... |
