Harmonica G-love?
whats up everyone. I wondered quite what harp, and key brand, G-Love uses in most of his songs. Especially songs like "Sunshine" and even some of the songs he did with Jack Johnson, like Rodeo Clowns, Mudfootball, and Better Together. I know he uses, or atleast think he does, D a Hohner Marine Band in Hot Cookin, but what about some other songs? also, anyone know some sites for G-Love tabs? Thanks everyone. Peace
I have a youtube movie of September 2006 that is G-Love plays an improvised duo with a reporter from Hohner. HohnerUSA in Virginia. They played Deluxes Marine Band. Like the Marine Band, but with screws instead of nails, and quite a bit more quality. About twice the price! If your slick, you can convert a Marine Band Marine Band Deluxe in one yourself. I can! I also found a blog that says G-Love uses a Marine Band. He is not an official endorser Hohner. If you try to sound like G-Love, good luck. I doubt that you mouth is the same shape as his, and the choice of microphone, amplifier, etc, get in the mix. It is not as easy as you think.
