For centuries Protestant Christians have argued that you can reach heaven through faith (belief) alone, while the Roman Catholics have argued that both faith and works necessary for salvation. However, both groups agree that faith and works are essential in the life of the true Christian.
This truth applies not only for religion, but for all life. Whether you want a true believer or just to succeed in achieving your dreams, you need both faith and works or, in more modern language, faith and action.
Belief that you are a writer is not enough. You should do what works namely action. You really should write something and it helps if you write every day.
I am writing this article to 5 hours on a Monday morning. I will write today, and one other. I do this since December 1, 2004 and are now well over one hundred articles written. Daily action or work (what you want to call) has reached. I believed that I could write one article per day.
A necessary part of every action is to continue until you finished what you do. What is not finished yet as useful as a two chair legs. Robert Louis Stevenson novels do not end before he finished 9 "Treasure Island". The action must be persistent and daily.
Great dreams about being a top guitarists will not cut. Hourly, daily practice is essential. This practice should be concentrated. An attempt at a classical guitarist and a guitarist not usually work unless you only play for your own pleasure.
I learned this lesson the hard way, by trying flamenco guitar, blues guitar, bottleneck guitar and rock guitar learn not to mention banjo, blues harp, bagpipes and drums all at the same time. Not surprisingly I've never been a high standard on each of them though I spent a number of them play!
Who loses weight? Is the person who longs to lose weight or those running a few miles every day and eat at least one apple or orange a day?
Again, specific daily activities normally. This can not be overstated.
Those who pass their black belt? Is the one who watches all Bruce Lee movies and sees himself in the role of the hero or the person who appears in the training room in cold and wet weather and train hard on a daily basis?
Chris Widener, which inspired this article, provides some convincing examples of the contrasts between the dreamer and the doer:
"Those who retire early? Person who dreams of a house on the beach, or the person who invests $ 300 per month?"
"Who has the best marital relationship? The only one who knows how much time to spend with their spouse can improve their relationship, or those who sit and talk with their spouse every night? "
Of Of course faith is very important. Unless you believe you can achieve your goals, you are probably not necessary for daily operations to achieve them. But the fastest way to increase your faith to action and the progress you've made to see.
If you do not believe you can rid your office of the mountain of paper begin by submission of at least one piece of paper one days. Before you know it will clear your desk. As you may suspect, I'm staring at a cluttered desk now!
Faith and take daily action and you can surprise yourself with your own achievements.
