Learning Harmonica Notes

The different types of harmonicas and techniques?

I've just started learning the harmonica a few months ago, and I think if I'm wrong not, my tremolo harmonica is a harmonica. So ... What is a chromatic harmonica? What is the blues? What is diatonic? My harmonica has 12 holes, and you can halftone play by pressing the knob on the right. What are the differences between types of harmonica and the sound? Can I bend a note with my harmonica? What are some other tricks? Thanks:) dont just give me a link without any explanation, thanks loads!

Diatonic harmonicas are typically used in blues, rock, country and folk, but can also be found in almost all styles of music. They are sometimes referred to as a "blues harp", "harp", "short harp", or "standard 10-hole ". The chromatic harmonica has a button on the side, which not when, you can play a normal major scale in the key of the chromatic. The button pressed, you have all the missing half-step notes in-between the large scale of notes. Allows you to play in any key and any kind of scale. The tremolo harmonicas are mainly used for special effects. They are not made to play blues, bending notes, or something other than play the simplest melodies. Depending on the specific model and brand, large scale would start on the third or fourth set of holes, and then the same pattern would be if the diatonic scale pattern in relation to blows and pulls.
