If I play blues guitar in key of 'Am' should I buy a harmonica in the key 'Am' or 'C?
I play mostly Am (A minor) blues guitar, a harmonica and I want to play with my guitar, but I'm not sure what key sounds good with "Am So I a C-major harmonica, or another? What key should I play harmoniously together? THANX!
Lee Oskar harps have natural small aligned the same as a normal play is great, but in a minor. The harps are nominated in their cross harp key, so you could buy an AM blues harp playing in Am, you can find more info on the Lee Oskar site: http://www.leeoskar.com/nminor.html However, if you have more versatility from your harp, you could find a G harmonica plays a large scale in a small third position. (-4, -5, 6,-6bent, -6, +7, -8).
