Smile is the latest release from Rock Superstar Brian Wilson, and is another great one by this talented musician.
Unfortunately, ita's not every day that I am a CD of an artist that I can pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just canÂ't force myself to get through. Not the case with Smile. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Rock fans will recognize some of the known contributions to the project including Dave Stone and Paul Martens plus a few other notables as well.
Overall Smile is an excellent release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is certainly a worthy addition to any Rock collection. Truly an outstanding Rock CD. One of those is completely void of wasted time, as each track is simply beautiful.
While the album is really good the songs are really remarkable track 5 - Old Master Painter / You Are My Sunshine, number 11 - I'm In Great Shape / I Want to Be Around / Workshop, and track 17 - Good Vibrations.
My Bonus Pick, and the one I got Sore [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 1 - Our Prayer / Gee. Great track!
