Harmonica for beginners?
ok here is the question I want to start playing the harmonica and I found this set of harmonica HOHNER PIEDMONT BLUES 7 A, B, C, D, E, F and G ..... but there is the basic blues harmonica, the thing is that the set of seven harmonics only costs $ 15 more than just the blues, but I know if I can use them well to start or should I get something else? help me!
The Piedmont harps are pure waste. If you are a beginner, it will be a long time before You need more than a few buttons. Stick with a Marine Band diatonic harmonica is the number one seller on the planet for at least 75 years, and the choice of most blues players or go to I prefer Special 20s. Receive a C or D harp and begin to add more keys if you play them warrants. I would also avoid the blues harp. Very few professional players use them as a result of an earlier model with the same name that was horrible. The current Blues Harps are ok, but a Marine Band and 20 Special will serve you better.
