What types of harmonica to play the blues?
I have a set of harmonicas in various keys and a few things id like to play blues, but the doing well right, because im guessing the ones I have are standard arpeggios. what kind of harp do I need one that bluesy sound?
Pretty much every diatonic Hohner is good for blues harmonica. My favorite is either they make the Hohner Special 20, or the hohner pro harp. Playing technique more important than the instrument they use ... they are all aligned same way, unless otherwise indicated. Try drawing more than blows.
