"Hello my virtual friends," is a more reliable way to think of internet phenomenon and guitar Justin Sandercoe personality. Just haunted country blues stomp "Love and Levity" delivered with charismatic and assured aplomb.
More acoustic pop highlights followed by heartwarming "Into the Blue" and "Page 99", a homage to the writer Louis De Bernieres, complete with mandolin tremolo that would have made Captain Corelli proud! Then came the lovely instrumental, "Katie's Window ' Sandercoe which shows the skill and musicianship as guitarist, has cemented his place as one of the most prominent personalities web guitar. A perfect intermezzo an emphasis on warmth and spirit that is moving through all music and plenty of Justin and his between song banter 'in this intimate setting.
The band began to fire on all cylinders and really began to boil at the end of the set galvanized by the introduction of co Cunnah writer Peter D: Increase fame on backing vocal duties. Setting off song of the evening was the excellent "Falling Next To You," a powerful ode to uncertainty and renewed love with a blissful groove, classical harmonica motif and infectious backing vocals. Here we see Sandercoe's maturity as a song writer and the power of the group as a whole, topped with some beautiful Gretsch guitar overtones.
A warm and touching display of our site hero, and on his birthday too. Watch out for the "Small Town Eyes" produced by Cesar Gimeno Lavin, a promising debut album, which is sure to be popular in the UK and U.S. acoustic music circles.
